Sarah Catchpole is a Suffolk-based textile artist creating contemporary felted artworks inspired by overlooked edges of the landscape - hedgerows, field margins and woodland paths.Working with wool fibres, silk and hand-spun yarns, she builds each piece through an intuitive process of layering, mark-making and composition, translating sketchbook ideas into textile form. With over 20 years' experience as an art educator, her practice is rooted in observation, experimentation and deep connection to place.Cloth Botanicals is the umbrella for her wider creative practice, encompassing eco-printed textiles, handmade cards and jewellery, as well as workshops exploring process, material and place.
